Authorities have yet to see a downturn in the deadly disease. As the death toll rises authorities are finding it harder and harder to bury Ebola victims and prevent the spread of the disease. Read more here. 

Health experts site Saudi’s poor response to the MERS outbreak. According to doctors, bad management and a lack of hand hygiene resulted in a large number of cases at the King Fahd Hospital in Jidda. The spread of MERS has now tripled in the number of confirmed cases. Read more here. 

Public Health England issues a travel advisory to the Caribbean due to the spread of Chikungunya or Chik-V.  Read more here. 

According to NY Times Well Blog, the cause of the “major resurgence of measles” in the U.S. is due to a large number of people choosing not to get vaccinated. Read more here.
